Black Flowers for Halloween

Halloween is just around the corner! In a matter of days, we will celebrate all things dark and creepy. So, in the spirit of Halloween, today’s blog post is dedicated to black flowers.Or more accurately, this post is about flowers that appear black, since truly black flowers do not exist in nature.”Black” flowers are actually the darkest, deepest shades of purple, maroon, brown or red.

Black flowers are perfect for celebrating Halloween! They will add drama, mystery and elegance to your home or outdoor garden. Look for them at your local garden center or through an online catalog. Another option is to purchase fresh flowers from your florist and dye them black with a black floral spray.
